Welcome to 7clouds' The Winners, a weekly series. As the ever-growing network that we are here at 7clouds, we'll be taking a look (and many different angles) into what has defined our brand for over a decade: Lyric YouTube videos. They are the core of who we are, and are a true part of our identity, spanning over 40 videos uploaded every single day across our various channels on the most watched platform in the history of the Internet.
In 7clouds' The Winners, every week we take a look at the seven best performing recent videos across our many channels, which span from Country and Chill, to Rock, Rap, R&B, and even countries like Italy, Argentina, Canada and Australia. The peculiarity of this series is that we rank the top videos based on how they've overperformed their neighbours in their specific channels. This means that, for example, for 7clouds Latin, we only compare its recent seven videos against themselves, and not against other channels, or by jugding only by viewcount alone. This allows us to have a clear picture of how well a video did against its local average. We represent this by an x. Meaning that if, for example, a video uploaded in a given week had 6,000 views in a channel with an average viewcount of 1,000, its value would be 6x.
Enough chitchat. Let's dive into this week's countdown.
7. 7clouds UK: Alan Walker - Alone (Lyrics) | 24x
Kicking off with a steady 24x, the UK flagship is leaning into the Alan Walker "Safe Haven." It’s a modest but vital entry that shows the London audience is returning to familiar electronic anthems as their weekend soundtrack.
6. 7clouds Poland: Figo i Samogony - Erotyczne Pif-Paf (Tekst/Lyrics) | 26x
Poland breaks onto the board with a 26x multiplier. Pulling 62,000 views on a regional track shows that the Polish flagship is carving out a very specific, high-engagement identity that resonates deeply with its local base.
5. 7clouds Trap: Tems - What You Need (Lyrics) | 30x
Tems brings a sophisticated 30x multiplier to the Trap boards. This isn't just "background music"—it’s a high-velocity moment for a channel that is increasingly moving toward melodic, R&B-infused trap sounds.
4. 7clouds Chill: Beéle - si te pillara (Letra/Lyrics) | 33x
Beéle is maintaining the Latin momentum we saw on Wednesday. A 33x multiplier on the Chill channel proves that the "Spanish-speaking takeover" is spreading into every corner of the network, providing the perfect soundtrack for the start of May.
3. 7clouds Indie: Bruno Mars - I Just Might (Lyrics) | 42x
Bruno Mars on the Indie channel? This crossover has paid off with a crisp 42x multiplier. It shows that our "Indie" audience is hungry for high-production value and legendary songwriting, pushing the velocity into the top three for the week.
2. 7clouds Lofi: Backstreet Boys - Shape of My Heart (Lyrics) | 82x
This is a brilliant strategic win. Taking a 90s/00s boy band classic and slowing it down for the Lofi channel has resulted in a massive 82x multiplier. It’s the second-highest velocity on the board, proving that "Millennial Nostalgia" is one of our most powerful growth levers.
1. 7clouds Germany: Alphaville - Forever Young (Text/Lyrics) | 745x
While the multiplier dropped slightly from its 831x peak, the view count exploded to 1.75 million. This is actually a more impressive feat—maintaining a 745x velocity at this scale is almost unheard of. Alphaville has officially achieved "Legacy Dominance," proving that the German flagship is currently the most powerful engine in the entire 7clouds empire.
From the 82x "Shape of My Heart" nostalgia to the 1.75 million-view fortress in Germany, Week 18 is a testament to scale. We aren't just seeing high multipliers; we are seeing them attached to massive, record-breaking volume.
